Does Zoom work in China?
Zoom in China: loaded in 37 of 37 OONI tests from China, 8 September to 8 October 2026.
Short answer (8 October 2026): The website loads. Zoom's website loaded from China in 37 of 37 OONI tests (8 September 2026 to 8 October 2026). That is not proof the app works.
What the data says
| Service | Result | Loaded / tests |
|---|---|---|
| Zoom (zoom.us) | Loaded | 37 / 37 |
| Slack (slack.com) | Loaded | 38 / 38 |
| LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com) | Loaded | 223 / 230 |
| Google Search (www.google.com) | Did not load | 0 / 42 |

A website that loads does not prove that a Zoom call connects or stays stable. We have no measurement of Zoom meetings from China, and we do not state one.
